ABOUT HEXXES
WHO WE ARE
HEXXES is a Portland, OR-based electro-industrial-metal trio that merges the aggressive rhythms and complex synths of early 90’s with the raw emotional energy of classic post-punk. Formed in 2024 by multi-instrumentalist Agatha Hexx, the project leans into the energy and performance art characteristic of darkwave, evoking comparisons to the powerful vocal stylings of Switchblade Symphony and the electronic textures of Gary Numan.
The band is comprised of Agatha Hexx (synths, programming, bass,) Dsalyss Hexx (guitar,) and Scarlett Hexx (VOX, lyrics.) Their sound is danceable and club ready, characterized by intense, driving basslines, complex synths and electronic rhythms, guitars that both grind and soar, and powerful vocals that blend melody and harmony into an iconic tour de force.
HEXXES LORE
In the damp and isolated regions of the Pacific Northwest, three dark spirits with a singular
vision joined together in an unholy tryst. Their purpose was to create music so compelling
that their listeners would become bewitched. And so, having determined their purpose,
they set to work.
After many months, countless rituals and sacrifices, the trio HEXXES was born. Influenced
by 90’s era electro-industrial-metal, AGATHA HEXX leads with thundering basslines,
aggressive rhythms, and complex synths. DSALYSS HEXX perfectly complements with
guitar - intense noise and distortions, grinding, then soaring through sonic space. And
SCARLETT HEXX conjures powerful melodies, complex harmonies, and iconic lyrics that
speak to us all.
